Oh MY GOSH!!!! It's is so good!!!! I almost crashed car on the way home because all I could smell was the food, all I could hear was the food "calling me #rkelley") all I could feel was the to go bag and then the curb I hit as I swerved. Food looked almost as good, but not as cute as the shorty female server that took my breath away! #callmegurl, the wings flavor also took my breath away, but I bet they ain't as sweet as the server!
One of my favorite places to eat. Their ranch dressing is perfect and i make sure I extra for my chicken salad. Food is always fresh and delicious!
Great BBQ, better service! Had an amazing time at Bubba-n-Frank's on a rainy day in Portsmouth. Rose took our order and was so welcoming, offering samples (pictured) Some of the best service I've ever had. Felt like family! Ordered the NC Style Pulled Pork with the New Brunswick stew, and Mac n Cheese and Hush puppies. Forgot to get pictures of the full meal because everything was really tasty. The New Brunswick stew was so flavorful! Highly recommend My partner ordered the Chicken BBQ Sandwich with the Chicken and Dumplings, also sampled and highly recommended. Finished off with a slice of Cheesecake and Banana Pudding, both highly recommended! Definitely will be coming again!
A lot of people are easy to please - I’m not. This was my favorite place I’ve stopped at since I’ve gotten back to Virginia and I’ve been everywhere. The food was amazing - Restaurant was spotless, from the dining area to the kitchen. The lady working the front was SO sweet and caring, got me samples to see what I’d like, and was a natural at working with customers she made me feel special, it was like I was eating at my mothers house. Almost had me crying a little bit when I got back in the truck. This place is a gem / blast from the past. This is what Virginia was like growing up. Golden hearts and great food.

Walked in and was greeted by William who was awesome and so friendly. He makes the place light up. The food here is out of this world. Brisket is where ITs at. Love IT I absolutely love this place. Not only is the food out of this world but the people working here like Tina are so friendly and helpful. She comes around making sure everyone feels welcome and has everything they need for a great meal. Awesome customer service. Love IT
The barbecue is delicious I prefer the North Carolina favor. I enjoyed the broccoli and the hushpuppies are awesome. Great place to eat. I have tried the steak, ribs and wings. All are excellent.
First time visited. Great place to eat. Delicious! Family friendly. Cashier gave great clarifying information. Side options were amazing(I chose the Cob, and sweet potato wedges) the wedges were maybe the best I've ever had. Chopped Pork was really great also, 6 sauce options. I tried 4, minus the hot(Pete) and vinegar. I enjoyed all the sauces. This really is a family run business, that had great music playing perfectly in the background. I will definitely return and try some more of their meals.
